May Brodbeck Humanities Fellowship

The May Brodbeck Humanities Fellowship is a competitive award designed to encourage and support the study of language, linguistics, literature, philosophy, history, jurisprudence, criticism, and theory of the arts as well as humanistic aspects of the natural and social sciences.

The President and Provost Award for Teaching Excellence recognizes outstanding University of Iowa faculty with sustained records of teaching excellence. The President and Provost Award for Teaching Excellence represents the highest level of achievement in teaching given at the University of Iowa.

Given by the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, the award honors faculty members for work representing a significant contribution to excellence in public education.
